Dr Sean Brady has acted as an expert witness in numerous proceedings involving a wide range of constructed facilities. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a director of the Society of Construction Law Australia and a member of the Singapore International Mediation Centre’s Panel of Experts.

In 2020 he completed the Brady Review, an investigation into the causes of fatalities in the mining industry in Queensland, Australia. This review analysed 20 years of incident and fatality information, was data driven, and culminated in 11 recommendations for both industry and the regulator on how to lower the fatality and incident rate.

He also speaks, podcasts, and writes on the subjects of failure, human behaviour, data analytics and engineering disasters.

Jodi is an experienced Health, Safety and Environment leader with more than 18 years’ expertise in mining, heavy manufacturing, munitions, chemical process plants and logistics.

She is a passionate advocate for practical, innovative safety leadership and worker health. She advises leadership teams on how to create a positive organisational culture that drives best-in-class HSE performance.

Jodi was the recipient of the ‘Growing Healthy Organisations’ Award at VIOSH, University of Ballarat during her Grad Dip Occ. Hazard Management, and also holds a Master of Science (Occ. Hygiene) from the University of Wollongong.

Ainslie is a civil engineer and disputes professional. She was previously at a global engineering consultancy for over 25 years, starting as a design engineer and project manager, before spending seven years in commercial risk management. From 2020 to 2023, she worked in a disputes management role, where she worked alongside lawyers in the management and resolution of engineering legal disputes.

Daniel is a core member of the Brady Heywood team who assists clients to develop strong risk management systems, which allow them to better understand their major risks and build more robust controls. As an economics graduate with rigorous analytical skills, Daniel is also interested in how clients can better use their data to gain real time indicators of how well their systems are performing. He especially likes to get on a client’s site and dig for the context behind the numbers, helping to ensure that our clients’ data is turned into actionable insights.

Liam is Brady Heywood’s data scientist whose skill set includes data analytics, programming (Python, Java), and data engineering. He employs a variety of methods, such as machine learning, agent-based modelling and natural language processing.

He’s just as happy engaging with clients and understanding their needs, as he is connecting data pipelines and performing data analysis. Liam’s passion for developing bespoke data-driven solutions, from dashboards to predictive analytics, helps clients uncover the story behind their data.
